Many people had problems with their Google Adsense accounts being disabled and many of them has been asking me if it is their end with Google Adsense? I tried to do some research and see what is the position of a person whose Google Adsense account is disabled – is it the end? Here’s what I found out.
First, let’s mention why most of the account are instantly disabled. One of the most common reasons for Adsense folks to disable your account is because of “invalid click activity” or as some say – “generating of invalid clicks”. What does that mean? Well it means that your adsense ads activity for some reasons became suspicious and caught by their filters and basically that is exactly what triggered the ban. This will also result in a loss of your earnings that were caused with those invalid clicks.
How do those notifications about disabled Adsense accounts look like?
There are two mails that we saw that are most often. Here they are:
Hello ……………………….,
It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on
the Google ads on your site(s). We have therefore disabled your Google
AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an
effort to protect the interest of the AdWords advertisers.A publisher’s site may not have invalid clicks on any ad(s), including
but not limited to clicks generated by:- a publisher on his own web pages
- a publisher encouraging others to click on his ads
- automated clicking programs or any other deceptive software
- a publisher altering any portion of the ad code or changing the
layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reasonPractices such as these are in violation of the Google AdSense Terms
and Conditions and program polices, which can be viewed at:https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US
Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further
participation in AdSense and do not receive any further payment. The
earnings on your account will be properly returned to the affected
advertisers.Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team
another mail looks like this:
Hello ……………………….,
While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage
our advertisers in the future, we’ve decided to disable your account. Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the
interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We
realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in
advance for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions about your account or the actions we’ve
taken, please do not reply to this email. You can find more information
by visitinghttps://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=57153&hl=en_US.
They both are more less telling you the same thing – that you Adsense account is disabled.
Is there any way to re-enable your disabled Adsense account?
Although many people with disabled adsense account problem had tried to write Google Adsense about it, not many had much success in reactivating their accounts. I can’t be very optimistic here folks. From what I found out, it seems that neither one disabled adsense account was reactivated. At least I didn’t heard about it. It seems to be a highest ranked adsense penalty and everyone should try to always comply with Google Adsense Terms And Conditions (localized adsense terms can be found here and policies here) to avoid this kind of ban.
Although the future doesn’t look bright for you at this moment, here’s what you can do. First thing you should know about is Adsense ivalid clicks appeal form, and here’s what Google says about it:
Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further participation in Google AdSense. However, if you can maintain in good faith that the invalid clicks we detected on your ads were not due to your actions or negligence, or the actions or negligence of others working for you, you may appeal the closing of your account.
also:
Google reserves sole discretion in considering whether to take any action on an appeal.
You should also check this article on SeoPedia that would help you with writing your Adsense appeal and also provide some additional info about this form and your approach to Adsense team.
What could you do to prevent your Adsense Account from being disabled?
Many people claimed that they managed to stop Adsense from disabling their account by mailing Adsense when they noticed some spam clicks. They also claim that resulted in removing funds that resulted from fraud from your earnings but the account were left active.
What is a solution for disabled Adsense account?
Although some people have been recommending that you should try to apply for New Google Adsense account with new domain and new username/adress, I would really not recommend it. That could look like you are trying to trick Google and if they find out it could also result in a ban / loosing all funds on that second account. I would really recommend trying to resolve it with them, and in case of negative reply from google you should try to check some other PPC programs.
I wish you good luck with re-enabling your disabled Adsense account.
