WordPress Top Commentators Plugin Widget

My long search for Top Commentators Plugin / Widget for my blog is finally over. I tried several popular plugins and they all failed to work with my WordPress Version 2.5.1 for some reason. Then I found this
Show Top Commentators Sidebar Widget by Carsten Albrecht and which was the closest to what I was looking for. It was originally made by Nate Sanden (Show Top Commentators-Plugin) and was later rewritten by Carsten to make it a fully configurable Sidebar Widget.

After I installed it it worked great from start. However there were few things I wanted to change. First was adding rel=”nofollow” beside each of the commentators, which I think is something most people would like to do. Other thing was changing the links in the list from <a href=’http://www.somesite.com’> to <a href=”http://www.somesite.com”> (changed single to double quotes). And that is what I did on my site.

I am sure that since it was published under GPL, both Carsten and Nate will not have anything against my changes. You can get the changed archive here.
